In various polls surveyed worldwide, almost 90% of the participants said it would be best if people could see animals in their natural surroundings, however zoos and aquariums present the only opportunity most people will ever have to see these real animals. Zoological facilities like our Park are vital to wildlife conservation and education.

We offer school education programmes, either at the Park or selected young animals are taken to schools as live exhibits.

Programme 1

This is where our education officers visit your school and bring animals to the children saving you time, transport costs, and keeping our children off dangerous roads. A short interesting talk is given on each animal (4 species of animal per visit) The animals are then shown to the children. The trusted success of this programme has made it a firm favourite with schools, thereby offering children the compelling experience (many for the first time in their lives) of close contact with a creature from the wild. Information and work sheets on the animals used are provided.
